Embrace the Power of Faith
Welcome To Our Inspiring Religious Community

Welcome to St Swithun’s Church & Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Website!

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”…

Welcome to our thriving and growing Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes & St Swithun’s Church in Southsea. We are part of the Diocese of Portsmouth with our Bishop Philip Egan. We are a friendly group of people who come together in our two Parish churches to worship God and listen to God’s word. We are an active community that is served by Cannon Simon Treloar and a great parish council.

We look forward to welcoming you to our parish.

We are a vibrant community and come together to worship our Lord Jesus Christ in our two churches of Our Lady of Lourdes and St Swithun’s here in Southsea.

As part of the Diocese of Portsmouth with our Bishop Philip Egan we are a very friendly group of people who come together in our two Parish churches to worship God and listen to God’s word.  The parish has an active community that is served by myself, Rev Canon Simon Treloar alongside a great parish council and various volunteers that support the church.

Further more, we have strong links with our Roman Catholic Primary School, St Swithun’s which include several religious communities affiliated to us too.

You will find a large, mixed and varied congregation who participate in all sorts of parish activities and functions.  As a result, there are many different groups and events running throughout the year.

The parish invites you to come and share in our beautiful worship of God through our various services and ministries.

Please feel free to have a look at our website, where hopefully you will find something of interest that sparks your thoughts further about our Lord.

If you have house bound or termly ill relatives that require a home visit from myself please do not hesitate to contact the parish office directly.

With Best wishes and God’s Blessing Canon Simon Treloar
